About 2026 Event
History & Mission:
Our purpose is to promote local pickleball, foster community engagement between different county clubs, and crown the county champions.
Tournament Format:
The format of the matches is: Round Robin, followed by knockout round, semi and the finals.
The scoring used is Side-Out Scoring.
More information about the format, equipment, timing & players instructions will be issued closer to the event.
Categories:
In 2026 there will be 5 categories:
- Mixed Doubles Under 3.5
- Womens’ Doubles Under 3.5
- Men’s Doubles Under 3.5
- Mixed Doubles Over 3.5
- Womens' Doubles Over 3.5
- Men’s Doubles Over 3.5
- Juniors under 14s
Who Can Play?
- Anyone residing in Leicestershire and Rutland Counties
- Anyone born in Leicestershire or Rutland
- Anyone who plays for a Leicestershire or Rutland Pickleball Club
The results of all matches are entered into DUPR. Players must have DUPR profiles and IDs available for the tournament organizer.
